16 Hour Basic Pistol / Illinois Concealed Carry Class is $99*

($125 for all 2026 16 Hour classes)

Your tuition includes your 8 Hour Basic Pistol Training Certificate (meets and exceeds all Basic Pistol training requirements necessary for Illinois and Florida Concealed Carry Permits), your 8 Hour Illinois State Police Concealed Carry Permit Instruction Certificate, as well as all course materials and targets. The student is responsible for paying their own range fee, and providing their own handgun, ammunition, eye protection, and hearing protection for the class. The student may rent a handgun, eye protection, hearing protection at the range, and purchase ammunition at the range.

8 Hour Illinois Concealed Carry Class is $99*

($125 for all 2026 8 Hour Classes)

Honorably discharged Veterans with a DD-214, Sworn IL. Certified Full / Part-Time or Retired Law Enforcement Officers, Security Officers w/ a Valid State of IL. TAN/FAC Card, 8 Hour NRA Basic Pistol, PPITH, PPOTH course graduates with official NRA Certificates - Your prior service / training / and/or certification allows you to bypass the first 8 Hours of the required 16 Hours of training, and attend only the last 8 Hours of class.

To register for an 8 Hour Class: Select and register for a 16 Hour class of your choice (the 8 Hour & 16 Hour classes are the same price). Then send us an email at register@criticaldecision.net with any and all of your supporting documents mentioned above, along with a picture of the front of your valid Illinois Driver's License or State ID. Be sure to mention in the email which particular class date you'll be attending.

3 Hour Illinois Concealed Carry Renewal Class is $50*

($75 for all 2026 3 Hour Renewal Classes)

This class is only for current Illinois Concealed Carry Permit Holders with a permit expiring within the next year.

Utah Concealed Carry Certification Course available upon request
